Made this in an hour or so as an experiment for my babys mom to do vocals but she couldn't do them so this is the instrumental track. It's not very well equalized (i didn't do ANY mixing so it sounds very generic.)

I made it on fruity loops 8.

Just an idea of what kind of music I like to make, although I make a wide variety really, this pretty much says most of it.

I like it

Has a very different feel to it, the hi hats are a bit heavy on the ear but the piano melodies are very nice. I dunno why it doesn't have a higher score tbh. The clap is very FL style (the one that comes in at 1:00), you should maybe try a drum kit style as in the ones that are present on a drum kit not the modified versions, it may give it a more natural feel which could sound better around that piano melody. That's the only major flaw tbh, the drum patterns, they sound a bit lifeless. Some tweaks and it will be super! Lemme know if you make any changes.

The thing about the percs is that I was going for a very synthesized sound to begin with. I hear a lot of what you're talking about though. The "lifelessness" is because it's suppose to be a very laid back song and too much drums would've made it a little less smooth, you know? I'm about to upload a newer version of the song though that I think is quite better but still mostly the same... you'd have to listen to it to understand what i mean. I further synthed the clap to make it sound less generic and gave the song more of build-up layout. Also added a new loop to the song towards the end.
