Ok, I have to ask - where can I get a better guitar VST plugin? I'm teaching myself how to play guitar but I'm not that good yet ^_^" and I don't have any distortion pedals, so that doesn't help any.

for better guitars/drums

i would prefer these:

Axeslash guitars (you need ModPlug-program for these, these are free!)
Ministry of Rock (you'll get drums and the best computer made guitar EVER, but it's pricey)

just practice first.

But you gotta figure something either real or more complicated. This is empty, not interesting, and annoying and boring after a while. The sound isn't good, but if you figure something out (2 guitars, make it longer, use Palm-mutes, breakdowns, solos - There are endless options) you can use that sound. Drums are fine.
