well yes, as the title suggests this is my remix of Bittersweet Symphony by "The Verve". I have used NOTHING from their original song, ull be happy to know so i cant be zero bombed for THAT. i was going to upload a vocals version but i cant find a vocals only version of it on the internet to put in over the top of it, so what i might have to do is just put the original over the top and hope that the original instrumental and my instrumental gel nicely :P
I made this when it was midnight and i wasnt tired, it started with me seeing how the bittersweet strings would sound if i did them with piano, and i liked it, and b4 u knew it 2 hours later at 2:00am i had my remix :D
im VERY happy with this one :D top 5 pl0x?? :DD i think it has the potential, just PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE guys - im begging you RATE FAIRLY andf give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, none of this "ur shit" business ive been dealing with lately. believe it or not, this song is actually 90 bpm! ive just used my amazing skils to make it sound fast :D

ppl like u are the reason upcoming artists never get discovered. i make unique music, some call it an acquired taste but its nowhere NEAR generic, and ppl on newgrounds think that generic is great, and thats why a lot of generic songs make it to top 5. submitted by artists who regularly make the top 5 who only seem to make music that all sounds the same. i come along, and i make HIGHLY different music that a lot of people love in its uniqueness, and narrow-minded dipshits like u come along and just cause it doesnt fit the norm u zero-bomb it.

Well i dont know exactly wich song/track u mean with bittersweet symphony.
Is that from Plasibo-bitter end ? ..hmm i don`t know.
I just review it as a track of youre own.
I have to say the start is a bit strange..many things at the same time.
You are trying to create this flowing area..When this beat comes in it`s off balance.
I think u should have made it sound different in the set up.
When the soft tunes comes in this distortion goes away.. this part is Good !
Then piano track is really nice..good mixture off high and low base sounds.
After that the track starts too change..wich in this case is nicely done.
My advice is: watch out when making a Synhtesizer flow area.. the timing is everything !!!

yeh i will work on the flow, it does sound a bit off in places but thats what i get for working with 90bpm and trying to make it sound fast lol! a new song that i made yesterday has a lot more flow than this lawl! so yeh ill upload that one shortly ;D

Don't do the thing with the vocals.
This is good just like it is. They would just ruin it, especially if you were to put the whole lyric track on it. I keep thinking of one of those deep voice anime/sci-fi movie quotes loops popping up here and there. I'm sure you've heard enough to know what I'm talking about. Something like that would be good. Close your eyes and tell me what you here? One thing that I like about this is that, when I listen to Bittersweet Symphony in my head, at first I couldn't even tell that this was based on it. After after a few times listens though I can hear it. Honestly, I probably would've thought this completely original if you hadn't mentioned. Good job with this one.

and yes ur right about whatu said with the vocals, but i was only going to have it maybe for 30 seconds to a minute or something. ill see how it sounds and if its crap then i wont bother. the reason this song may sound a bit drawn out and long is because using the demo i cant go back and save, so i wanted to make sure that in the song i rendered i had every combination of sounds that i wanted to in case i wanted to repeat some or delete some, and also its a bit long because i thought i could find a vocal track and that would be lke a fresh thing to keep the interest, but not to worry this song is getting some good reviews :D
