Okay guys, this is the first demo to a song I have started to write titled Antarctica. This is nowhere near complete.

This segment of it is entitled "Dawn of No Sun". Antarctica is a very harsh place, and there are several days with literally no sun, at all.

I would also like to say that it becomes VERY quiet at the end, just so you know.

I would really appreciate comments and constructive criticism on how to improve this song. So please, listen, vote fairly, review, and most importantly, enjoy!

Oh, and to those who wish to 0bomb this, I know that this song isn't worthless, I would never want to cause your ears to bleed. :)

Wow...

Woha, this really gave me a feel of a struggling expedition working themselves through the bone hard desert of ice. :)

PenguinSam responds:

Awesome! I'm glad that image came into view. The next segment has a much more bizzare image, so I'm glad that atleast the fist segment is working!

Amazing! I usually don't like ambient classical pieces, but once again, you make something amazing! This piece was a bit, I don't know the right word, "choppy", but only at the beginning, and in a smooth way, and it really added quite a dramatic effect to the climax of the song around 1:22

The key was just amazing, especially near the end, and is, in my opinion, one of the best computer-made pieces of music, even by the standards of Bach or Mozart or somebody else.

And to think this is only a demo! In my mind, I don't really see Antarctica, but an abandoned space ship or something drifting through space forever, that or I've seen way too many depressing Sci-Fi movies.

And is that sort of low sound around :39 supposed to be a foghorn? Because it sort of sounded like one, it also sounded pretty cool, especially with the bit of intro then the drum roll following it!

PenguinSam responds:

Hmm, a foghorn...I guess bassoons work as foghorns, I should make that so! Thanks for that great Idea. Also, the rest of the song will have different moods such as the sun rising, finally.

wow

really great, ambient, soothing, just awesome. Makes me picture desolate Antarctica

PenguinSam responds:

Just what I was looking for, thanks!
