Well hey I like the way you think because you will get better with time. I know I can look back at my first stuff and laugh at its quality. This particular tune had an enjoyable sound to it, but a couple of things that are bugging me are some volume issues with the drums. The snare seems way too dry and loud. Try adding some reverb and use a compression to turn it down a bit. As for the hi hat sidechain I think you should turn that up a bit. I could listen to it more than once. I really like what you did once every thing kicked in, just before the "now for a break"....I could use expansion, other than that I think it's great.
