enjoyable yet improvable

nice song overall...enjoyed the interesting texture of the piece...also, the edgeness that is characteristic of dance/trance/techno music...one thing that detracted from the piece was the constant transitions and the slight repetition of the melody...might want to make a break somewhere where the melody is complemented by a countermelody of some sort...overall, could do with a bit of work, but is still a nice piece that can be looped over and over...and over....and over...you get the point...

flow: 5.5/10 (might want to lower the number of transition points)
melody: 6/10 (try the counter melody)
percussion: 6.5 (i agree with Chubsy on the slight necessity for perc. complexity)

Overall: 6/10 & 3/5

Great piece

The whole piece is so involved. There are so many elements, I would have to listen to this piece over and over and over again to catch everything that is going on. And although there is a lot going on, it doesn't sound cluttered. All the sounds support each other and no one sound is too overpowering. Very well mixed. I have no complaints AT ALL. I guess if you COULD improve one thing it would have to be percussion. I know it's a Dance track so the percussion doesn't need to be too complex. But I believe it could be a tad more complex than it is. But it sounds FANTASTIC as is so it's really not an issue, just a suggestion. Do what you want. GREAT PIECE!!!! Congratulations.

nice stuff

really solid stuff......with that break around 2:12 you seem to use a drum roll to eventually drop the track.....i'd toss a low pass on there and see what comes out...the kick is the driving force of the track and if you kick is going full bore during the break it's kind of counter productive/confusing

Excellent work. I just want to go to a club and jump around now.

I would change the genre for this though.

This is indeed upbeat and makes my heart try to beat out of my chest cavity because it is so pumped!

However, it isn't something that I would dance to because of certain parts to it.

This song has fluctuations on the emotional aspect of it, so I believe it would fit in trance.
