It's pretty clear that it's a boss battle tune of sorts. High intensity, with the classic electric guitar MIDI sounds. You're not joking about it sounding a bit off at the start, the first half of the track feels very chaotic before it settles down into a more classic sounding boss battle. A fairly decent progression.

Forgot where abouts I got this, i was sent it to remixed, from a midi, unknown source (more liley VGmusic) done in Adobe Soundbooth. Listen through for this one, sounds bla ish at the start but it gets going.
