amazing

I get a very clear image a veteran soldier at the end of a war looking back and realizing all of what he and his county have lost to win this war.

The beat almost sounds like a heartbeat.

i really like this song,
the only thing i would change are the beats that come in around 0:45
i'd either put them in constantly from that point on insead of just every now and then, or take them out completly.
just my thoughts.

Very... Beautiful. Just sounds like it flows very well and has inspired me to try my hand at a piano driven song... Thanks for the inspiration! Keep up the great work for sure!

Thanks! I'm glad I could serve as inspiration - piano melodies are usually hard for me to come up with, but this one turned out pretty well. There was some feeling behind it this time - that seems to help things....
