This track reminds me of a track by Glenn Morrison named "Contact" (Look it up on youtube) with the very progressive minimal house feel to it. I haven't really heard this style being produced on NG before, so I'm loving this one right now.
A few notes:
-I like what you have done at 2:02 where you killed the lead and left the pads and bass on, it was a clever way of breaking the repetitiveness of the track while still keeping the same tune.
-There is no problem with repetition, a lot of House tracks today feature loops of the same riff and hook so ya.
-It feels like the lead needs more reverb to it, but not too much. (I don't really know, it's my preference to have a lot of space on the lead)
Well, the track is pretty flawless and it's a catchy riff. I really hope to hear more songs like this done on NG.
P.S. Where did you get your drum samples? Vengeance I'm assuming?
but to me this is pure electro, not house, samples used are far from house...
Yeah, I like
I'm not a big fan of repetitive music, but I love space music. Kinda two sides battling out in my head. Here goes,
1) I really like those fx sounds. The bell like sounds are very pretty and spacy too. Nice job here
2) Hey, that guitar sounds awesome. Maybe not as good as professional made synthesized guitars, but you probably are the closest I've heard on NG that came up with a good guitar instrument. Also I appreciate the sudden filter changes of the guitar. eg. 1:02
3) 2:02 is my fav part. That pad instrument makes me feel like I'm floating in space
1)Well you already know this is a repetitive song and there isn't really many instruments used either.
So there isn't really much critism I can give you. I hope that your next space sounding song is more diverse. I'd be a fan of your stuff then. Yes, this song is good to chill to. Keep up the good journey music. 5/5 vote and 9/10 review.
Bye for now
