I listened to part of this a while back, and favorited. But I didn't have time atm to write a good thought out review. So I'm back to review this lovely little tune.
As always, I have to first say I love the piano. Now that I got that little love affair moment out of the road, I will move onto things I am not biased to.
Such as the beat. It is mixed perfectly in the mix. Although it gets slightly repetitive, I'm not sure that is all a bad thing. I love when it cuts out and you just hear the clap btw, that is a fucking awesome idea you came up with. Not really that difficult, but really sounds great.
The strings are tasteful, and not overdone. Yet they are there enough to give the flavor necessary for the song. Thank you for not putting massive reverb on a lot of these instruments. Although there definitely is some, it is not overused. And often times reverb is WAY overused.
Overall I do love this little tune. Personally I think its a tid bit short, but that is just me.
5/5 and 9/10 overall. The beat having a slight change throughout the song would help a bit, as well as maybe lengthening it slightly. But as it is now it is pretty awesome.
Great job bud!
This ain't bomb material. What's wrong with people
Nice job writing your own tunes man. You did a hell of a job with that - your piano melody is just great. Your percussion's good, too, though I'd definitely do something about that clap that becomes so audible at 1:54. Add some reverb to that thing- it just sounds like it exists somewhere outside reality at the moment.
I'm getting a lot of clipping though, especially right at the start, and it shows up to a lesser degree through the rest of the track as well, most prominently toward the bass end. Try to watch that volume level, and/or tweak an equalizer til things get cleaned up!
But from one person who composes every beat to another, this is a great original work. Nicely done. Just fix up those couple technical aspects, and maybe think about separating your instruments within the stereo as well, and this'll go from being an 8 star track right to a 9 or ten!
awesome, perfect response, thanks C: I'll get those editted as soon as possible :D
