My first fruity loops piece. A short little fuge-like song.

I concur, Your Excellency!

As a very, VERY amateur fiddler *as in, the art of fiddaddling, not playing the fiddle*, I know it's nice to have what you create appreciated. I have to say I agree with the afore-poster here. Though my initial response would've been something along the lines of "ChronoTrigger??", all the same, it's a great tune. Very pretty.

afliXion responds:

Hmm.. ChronoTrigger? I don't think I've ever played that game. I do have one song I play from it on the piano though. I guess they kind of have the same mystical sound to them.

Interesting indeed

I hardly hear anything like this in the audio portal. I really enjoy hearing classical motives like this, and the harmonies are beautiful! You have a knack for writing melodies, which is good, I enjoy writing a good melody myself. I can see a bright future between you and Fruityloops. BTW, I love the synth you used in the song, I believe it is the Sytrus instrument right? Short synth - trance actually, to be exact. I love using that synth in my songs, it has a great timbre to it. Anyway, good work, I'll be anticipating your next song hehe :)

afliXion responds:

Wow, thanks for such a great review! You must have some experience being able to tell me exactly which synth I used. I was
impressed. Your comments are greatly appreciated. :D

Sounds kinda like a Megaman piece at the beginning! I like that.... but then it just keeps that weird sound to it though... there is just some weird kinda sound I keep hearing after each pad comes in... maybe its the clarity. Hopefully you can go back and try to make it not sound so misty, but then again, barely anyone is doing "misty" music, so that can make you unique in this case.... nice work.

afliXion responds:

Thanks for the review. As always your comments are appreciated. But I don't know what the megaman piece sounds like. lol.I'm also not sure what you mean by misty. It is kind of echoey, if thats what you mean. But I wanted that in there to make it sound more ambient.

Rpg music?

It's ambient, but reminds me more of video game music. Not a bad thing, I actually enjoyed the melody in this piece...Nice work.

afliXion responds:

Thanks for taking the time to write the review. I like getting some feed back and your comments are greatly appreciated. :D
