It's too obvious that it's synth. Real violins would be extraordinare, but alas, none are to be found here.
I like the sequence you're using, it's kinda completely awesome.

Thanks... I'd love to have a complete orchestra at my disposal but alas I don't =[.
I could have used a better program to achieve close to it, but I sorta like the cheesiness of these very synthetic and almost 8-bit sounding strings. It adds an eeriness I use to feel as a youngster ;)
