I love Zelda, and the music, but...

The only thing that gives this a low rating is that it's but really yours at all. Sure, you remixed it a TINY, TINY bit... But that doesn't make is yours. I have appreciation for the song, not as much you. This portal is supposed to be for works of art, but rip-off art. Yes, the mix is kinda nice, but I don't think you should get good ratings and credit from tweaking with a great song. :\

Rearrangement or re-rendition of a piece isn't the same as stealing a sound file from a game then tweaking it a bit in some audio program. This piece wasn't created so I could claim it as my own; I was merely arranging a piece to pay homage to a composer who I respect. I sat down with a pen and paper, wrote out the original piece by ear, and then I started making some changes here and there to keep it fresh.

The main purpose of this project was to test some orchestral synthesizers I was working on and I thought some people here on NGAP might enjoy listening to the result. I was also trying some new mastering and effect techniques which didn't go so well this time, but it was a learning experience to improve myself as an audio engineer.

Please don't try to play down the amount of work I put into this until you attempt something similar yourself.

Awesome!!!

I love Zelda, my Favorite. :) I think you did an amazing job on this song, and this is one of my most favorite themes on Twilight Princess. Everything sounds great and the only thing i would say is to change the ending, but only a little bit because it kinda just ends, if it had a more epic ending that would be great! But other than that little part its really good to me. :):) Keep up the awesome work!
