DnB sir... DnB...
It's got enough Drumz and bazzez in it to make it DnB in my opinion.
Agree with Cormaster9000... Super uberly... Sounds exactly like a banjo kazooie song.
At the same time tough... its like a creepy speedcore song. Which... well... If thats what you are going for you pulled it off... pretty well I must admit.
I'm glad that unlike most people you switched up your drums a lot. Most people stick with just one kind of drums and stay with those... One thing I've noticed about your music is that you never use the same drums too much.
The reverse cymbal was used really well in this song.
One small thing that goes against it though was that it fell sorta repetitive.
Great overall Creepyish-banjoish-kazooish-speedcore -wafflez song though. Great job indeed!
Why, thank you!
DnB you say, eh? I was actually thinking about it too but then I thought it was too many non-DnB sounds. So it stays in the misc genre for now.
As I quickly get bored with the same drum sounds all the time I really try to vary them as much as possible. Different drums fits to different music styles, so I try to pick the one that fits best too.
And repetitive... hmm... Anyway, thanks a lot for your review! Waffles ftw! Now I feel a need to play that game though. :P
deffinately reminds me of Banjo Kazooie. I really like this alot. Has a dark feel to it but fun at the same time. Deffinately would be a great video game song. I absolutely love all the percussion.
the mixture of all the sounds worked wonderfully.
Well thank you! I too like how the percussions turned out. Haven't played that game though. :/
It's like Halloween meets beach meets techno. And odd mix, but whatever. :) Nice job here, I like these sounds. They blend in quite well, surprisingly. It's quite smooth, nice transitions and mini-crescendos. I think miscellaneous is the way go for now, because I have no heck of an idea where this should go. :)
Anyway, keep up the good work and I hope to see these percussions again!
Thanks! And more there will be.
Fire the engines! 3... 2... 1... and off we go!
*making whoosh sounds*
A nice tropical yet cold track. Reminds me a bit of the Russian music in the James Bond Goldeney game. Overall very rythmical, smooth, and varied too, sounds good. Keep it going!
Yay! Thanks for your review.
