not bad but i only came here cus i thought it was the metallica version LOL
After a long break, continuing to upload my remixes of the FF6 soundtrack...
This is "The Unforgiven" from FF6, reworked by me. It was used in the FF6 fandub that I'm currently working on. I'll be putting up the entire collection of songs that I did for this fandub over eventually, in the hopes of assembling a complete, high-quality version of the soudtrack.
The fandub is available here: http://www.youtube.com/vi ew_play_list?p=477F27AC26 C31A5D

Could use some work, but good!
I like it overall. I think I read on one of your comments that you use the trial version of FL? One thing that I think would improve all of your songs greatly is use of general mastering with the Multiband Compressor and/or parametric equilizer plug-ins (which are in the trial version of FL). If you want to know what settings I'd suggest, message me. It'd really punch up your songs a lot.
Also, one thing you can do is find an older trial version of FL (v3.0) and sequence the song in that, because the older versions allow you to save your work. The newer trial can still open the older FL files, so all you have to is modify instruments. It's sort of a workaround the "no-save" feature of the new FL Studio without having to buy the real deal.
Thanks for the review! Yeah, I definitely see your point. I made all these ff6 tracks this summer, so it's a little late for these ones, but I definitely have learned a few things about equalizing and stereo separation since then, though I still don't think I have much of an ear for the whole equalizing thing, but the stereo separation thing I think I've got the hang of.
Maybe I'll go back and see if I can redo a few...
Thanks for the advice on the workaround for FL saving!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
