My second submission to the NG classical section. Hopefully it will be better-received than the piece that I could not find a name for. I was originally going to name this one "Rise of the Hero" and then decided at the last minute that this name suited it much better. I also sorta think that the ending kinda got away from me, but it didn't turn out too badly.

Constructive criticism (and praise :P) welcome.

Idk bout this one. May I ask what kind of piano you used for this piece. I dont like the sound of the main piano playing, Almost sounds distorted if played on a 100$ casio piano. Grand Piano there would sound much nicer. Over all your beat fit perfectly but the solo piano playing in the background seems a bit repetitive. I can tell you have alot more talent than this and can't wait to see it full released. Good upbeat tempo, alot of thought and timing was put into and you can easily tell.

Some parts need to be sped up and sound as if there falling behind. Everything else is fine just a bit of tuning and touchup here and there on the piano notes.

Also added to fav's so I can make sure to listen to any new songs you put out. I really think you have talent and will only become better by each submission. Great Job!

Thanks for the review. Every instrument in this piece is synthesized. I'm using Garageband '08 for the time being and the piano is a synthesized Steinway. I didn't use a Grand there because it sounds more fake than the one I ended up using.

The first minute and a half is from a song I wrote for a rap group (I don't rap, I only write the background music). It was supposed to be structurally different -- no verse, no chorus...just build and repeat (which is obviously why it sounds so repetitive). With vocals it works quite well. Anyways, I just thought that the song had some real potential and decided to lengthen it drastically and this is what became of it.

I didn't always write for the rap group though...I originally wrote classical stuff and the guy who put this group together wanted me to join because of my previous work and now I'm having a fair bit of trouble "getting back to my roots" if you will.

Feel free to check out my other submission...maybe help me come up with a name for it? I've never been very good at that part.

Great, Relaxing Loved it

I think the song was pretty awsome bro, great work. I think the Suttle bass really gave it that great fealing and kept the song together. Love it can't wait for more from you.

Love the Change at the 2:20ish mark, wasn't expecting that and you made it flow very well.

Thanks for the review! Glad you liked it. With any luck I'll be adding much more to the portal as I get better (or just decide to add my better stuff to the portal :P).

Solid peice, but needs work.

It shows good piano and musical skills. But it sounds too mechanical. What did you use to make this? Keep at it, it shows very good promise. Good job!
