love it

not a musician so obviously i have jack shit to say, but its still awesome.

Lapse responds:

Still, you're the important part - you've got the ears. : )

Wooh, homs you should make more of this kind

I'm always looking for scores like this, pretty original and with that 'something' stuck inside of the song itself, it's not 'kinda cool' it's completely excellent, i hope i can hear more of this kind of music from you in the future

Lapse responds:

Thanks man. I'm glad you dig. It's good to hear original and exciting. I have much more to be heard. I hope you listen and enjoy equally and better.

Yup this one is kinda really good as well.
The whole composition is really nice!

the mix is not bad but at some points it feels a bit too middy. maybe a little less mids will do wonders.

And about fruity loops. well its a sequencer and everything is said. In my opinion you rely on external plug ins a lot when using that program in comparison to some more advanced sequencers. But whatever works right :D?

Spine therapist

Lapse responds:

Thanks man. Lovin' your reviews.

Yeah, the mix is potentially muddied. It works for what I was going for though, I feel it counteracts the scratchy percs. Accidents are muddy.

Heh, I'm not sure what your saying about FL. However, yes, i do rely on external plug-ins. I cant remember the last time i actually even bothered to look for sound in FL, haha. No thanks : P

I've been wanting to get Abelton Live!

Great song!

Just as all of your music. amazing.
But.... FL studio? I have FL studio, and I have never thought it capable of such epicness... Mentor me? XD

Lapse responds:

Heh heh - a lot of people are surprised when i say "FL Studio" - most people think its a crap program, but really,( i use it as a sequence more than anything) Its not a bad program at all when you figure your way about it... Grabbing external plug-ins and such. You can be capable of anything! : D - mrah-hah!

If you have any questions, please, feel free to ask. I can try as help as much as i can!

Drums, drums, and DRUMS!

Seriously. Pure ownage, but this time it's all bout the drums, man.
Love the trumpet part, but it's more of a tune integrated with the rhythm than a melody on its own, kinda used as a part of the percussion, if you know what I mean. (the poor trumpet :o)
It's been a while since you updated a song, and those two loops were great, but not enough >,<
What composer program do you use?

Lapse responds:

Fundaaaameelllooon : D

Thanks man. Yeaaah, gotta love them drums, aye! I've been thinking about redoing the drums more when the simple trumpet melody comes in. Dunno though. I feel like its all pretty solid. I feel you though. The simple notes in the trumpet with the delay and tremolo that sort of follows along with the drums : D - too much melody would get in the way - so i figured something simple would be effective with the right effects on it. Yeah, i havent had internet for a couple of weeks. Been having some troubles with it as of late - but its all fixed up now - so i got a chance to submit the two tunes i was working on in the mean time.

I use FL Studio for all my stuff. You thinking about trying it out??
