Time for yet another of my videogame-inspired synthrock tunes. I got lyrics written for the song, but no singer to sing them (As always). Thats why I put this in the "Video Game" category. Should I move it to Rock instead?

This is a tribute to the song "Arcade" by the great band "Machinae Supremacy". I get most of my inspiration from them.

Please tell me what you think :)

Unfinished lyrics:

-Digital world (Return to Arcade)-

verse 1
I remember a time before my wife
When a window of light was my life
I still remember how I used to trancend
Into a world of pixels, a world that had no end

I wanna be there once again
I just wanna live forever
all over again

Because i know where I belong.
And I'll keep coming back for more,
getting high on a digital world.

Really tells a story

Melody: 2/2- Awesome
Drums: 2/2- Works well
Bass: 1/2- There are enough low notes on the guitar to suffice, I guess
Instruments Used: 2/2- Nothing to say
Mood: 3/2- I like how the music really matches the story. Some slow parts in here might do some good, but it doesnt matter, because the song doesnt have to be chained to the lyrics.

OVERALL: 10/10- Sorry about the laziness of my reviews lately.

that song was cool

nothin better than classic 8-bit

That waz kool

MashedByMachines responds:

Thankz ;)

This was excellent! I loved the melody and the 8bit gaming sounds in the background. I love your gaming music, keep it up!

MashedByMachines responds:

Thank you :) glad you like it =)

The lyrics are the best...

Great lyrics in the works...made me smile as I looked at my wife and thought about the times my gaming is shut down so she can watch her DVR...wishing for simpler times indeed! Great song!

MashedByMachines responds:

haha i´m glad you liked it :)
