NOTE: Try listening to the HQ Version of this track: /audio/listen/277427

Ok, I know this is submitted in a suspiciously short space of time since my Windmill Hut piece, but the fact of the matter is I have far too much free time, and I already had several versions of this tune on my PC. This has to be one of my favourite tracks of all time, and I would have loved to hear a live orchestrated version. Sadly, this isn't live, but I tried to make it sound as live as I could. Hope you enjoy it.

P.S. Still looking for a better Strings soundfont

P.P.S. Vote fairly pl0x

Having heard the HQ version first, there is always something to be said for the source.

The instruments and animals are less blended, which is interestingly different. I like that the ocarina is slightly more prominent, but especially the birds. There is a slight variation in the piccolo(s) (are their two!? or is it an auto-tuner?) that, honestly, is painful to hear at the volume I enjoy this type of music at. Reverberation. That's what I was thinking of. Yes, it's painful when loud.

I should know, I played flute and pic back in high school, and when trying to tune two piccolos together, our assistant band director had this to say: "Somewhere, some poor dog's head just exploded."

Dude I love this. I have heard the HD one but this one is better in my opinion since its not as blended together as the HD version. The HD version still is wonderful and i give that a 4.5 out of 5.

Simply Splendid

The Nostalgia... These kind of songs bring back the good days of OoT..

P.S. I love how smoothly the music loops itself back seemlessly but the chord @ 2:43... Ooooh..

Very distinct and close to the heart!

Nice work here. I feel that what Nintendo couldn't imprint into their music with their business-models, you've done so perfectly here. The heart of what the Woods were meant to be is right here.. along with the fact that the gentleness represents Link's pre-teen crush. Erm, and I guess I'll have to admit mine. I'm a sucker for oddly coloured hair. =P.
