This piece was written for the intro scene in a Hamlet project of mine. Instead of just giving it a name like "Hamlet Intro", I gave it this new name along with a new story.

A new king has taken his seat on the throne. His cruelty and malice towards the people have not come unnoticed. His people are displeased, and an uprising is imminent. The king takes the road of deception in order to cover up his acts of brutality. The people see past his lies... and revolt.

haha you did a great job with this one. I love how this almost sounds like a track from a ps1 title such as FF7 or breathe of fire III. The story you depicted fits this perfectly and was pieced together well. I did not like however from 1:33-2:05
it sounds as if you made a wrong turn and well just doesn't sound as clear cut as the rest of the track.
Overall great job, adjust reverb/tempo and clean up a tad bit here and there and this would be a great track for a game or flash.

Thanks for the review! :D I totally agree with you, I'm not gonna lie. That section is my least favorite part of the track. I originally had something else there, but while scoring for the video, found out that it was the duel between Hamlet and Laertes. So, I had to take that out and make something a bit more.. aggressive I guess. But I was having problems with the right notes, and realized that the original melody I had was never meant to be. :P There was just no combination I could make that wouldn't make people cringe when they heard a certain note or something. So, I had to change the melody around with the flute in such a way that it doesn't have the same mood at all. Oh well. :P This was the first time I ever scored to something, so it was quite an experience.

Haha, and yeah, my friend said the same thing about the beginning. He said it sounded a lot like FF7, but, believe it or not, I never played more than a couple hours of it. That's awesome that it sounds like that, though, since I'm in love with FF music.
