There are a couple of things that could be changed:
1. This doesnt sound to sad, in fact you could make it happier
2. Could use something in the the background, i dunno... very soft guitar?
3. If possible you could add lyrics which go along with the music's mood

haha....i was a....well interesting emo kid back in high school, so it's funny you say that
ok but...
In the beginning the first notes you play are low then you change to a piano pitch more high...that would be go if you didn't make so rough, try to make a slow beginning.
Next there are some mistakes in the key play,did you use keyboard? I'm not saying its bad but correct those tiny errors and this would be better, also try to put drums probably light ones with low pitch(if your aiming to make this song still look sad...) also try a part without that reverb.
After this review it may seem I didn't like the song but I did,those sounds were a good choice for the representation of that mood you had, also this maybe one creation on that mood....but now you could make it better...if thats what you wish.
cool man, i'll take it all into consideration if i ever remake this.....(so whenever i'm depressed for no reason i suppose) but yeah, constructive criticism is always appreciated here
