WOW

Awesome - simply awesome! I wish I could say more but I've run out of words for this brilliant piece of music! I rated 5 and 10! If I could, I would of voted much more!

Lovely

Very well played. I think it is great that this is a live recording.

However in reply with Doki, I agree that there should be more live music and it is easier going with an unaccompanied instrument. However I think it is harder to make more live music with multiple instruments then computerized. It is very difficult to get many musicians all around and play, that takes more and more time and effort. Even with a multi-instrumentalist who can layer each individual part it requires alot of work keeping in tune and making the piece have its own unique relation within itself. Besides Newgrounds really isn't one for rewarding such an effort with adequate prizes like enough money to go around for everyone who participates.

Only strengthens my theory

that the violin is by far one of the most tragic of instruments, but its a otherworldly, haunting sadness which borders on great beauty, beautiful sorrow. like pagliacci the sad clown or Anna Frank, her story was beautiful even if it was one of great pain and sadness as well. in other words, I love this ^-^

By the way are you just a violinist or do you play anything else? and also have you heard of the Devil's Trill?

Awesome job

I always love the idea of a musical voice being akin to a voice in conversation, expressing what is on the performer's (or composer's) mind. You did a very good job in portraying the emotion that you were attempting to through the tone of the composition, rather than a mood (as most music does).

I have to say, when I saw this title (not knowing who you were, of course), I was didn't have very high expectations of the piee. Nor did I know it was a human performance, of which I was surprised. Anyway, as a fellow violinist, I can tell that your tone is very well-developed and mature to suit the composition. Very emotional in your performance, which, again, aided in bringing out the effect you were intending to portray.

As a violinist, I always love to utilize the effectiveness of violins, sometimes in solo form, but I don't know if I've achieved this sheer power of a single violin's voice. I applaud you for that.

Keep making great music.

Rocky

great!

I love handmade music. It is really difficult to create feelings with only one instrument, but I think you made it here. good work, clean playing, 5 points.
