After Dark

At 2:25 the track slows it down.

I think i can call this one done.

The future will be a place of deconstruction.

After dark, all the hush shadows bleed other dimensions. Who's to say whats really real? We huddled around fire, once. We all huddled around fire - long ago. Here in the night, we surrender our logic to creativity and wonder which follows which? Which comes first? Day or Night? Or are such questions not needed. For it just is. Here, when gentle moistures aid gloss to all the midnight textures - There's still lions out.

Initial Piano samples provided by my man "NubbinOwnz" - so you could say this is a collab of sorts.

fantastically freaky.

I wish I had this skill.
to have random noises made into such a puzzling pecuruliar manner of music, that works so well.
I love it.

Heh, you could have it! Just gotta practice, be patient, work, work, work. Ha. Er..Fun, fun, fun. Controlled chaos.

all your piano lines are so like , jazzy

Lapse responds:

Heh heh - gotta love that jazz, man.

Pleasantly puzzling.

A very mysterious song, with a beat that seems random, but is very smooth and in some jarring way, soothing. The enigmatic and subtle voices added at 1:35 are really interesting. The slower beat after 2:24 actually seems less interesting when compared to the faster section, but is well enough on its own.

Very peculiar work, and very good. Definitely worth the listen.

Very nice, a thoughtful review. Thats always appreciated. I'm glad you like the track. I had a fun time making it and like the way it turned out, sound quality and everything. Was a bit different from my normal scheme of things or maybe just better executed. Still following the dark trails I've been following. Yeah, with the slow down, i wanted the long drawn out fade out effect as if the hypothetical "band" that where to perform this decided to improv and the long fade out suggesting that "they" probably went on for a while into the night / represent the slow fade in of morning.

Thanks for the ears, man. Take it easy.

I've never seen anything like it, very original and pretty cool. I like the glitchy style

Lapse responds:

Thanks man, glad you like.
