I took a lot of inspiration from the local weather... it hasn't stopped raining for days. Pouring. Puddles. Drip drop.

More rain.

This piece makes me feel like I'm sheltered from the rain in a cave. A stream of crystal-clear water is gently flowing in a gully beyond some sparkling stalagmites, and I drift off to sleep listening to the tranquil sound of the raindrops outside.

I spent a while experimenting with a bunch of pads when this idea came to me. I'll be honest that all I have is Anvil Studio, an audio converter, and Audacity. So yes, it used to be a midi, and the rain is a modified sample. Hopefully people respect those limitations, and this song doesn't get curbstomped like my first.

I raised the volume as much as possible in response to users saying it was too quiet. I guess my cheap headphones actually make things louder. Whoops.

It has potential...

I like what I hear though I did have to turn the volume up on my speakers to get the full effect. You should've definitely cranked up the gain on this one in audacity before you exported this as an mp3. Anyway keep at it. Sometimes it takes awhile to get a good mix going.
