The assignment was to make a 2-4 minute piece based on sample timestretching and spacial effects, using your own samples. This is my final piece. Woot.

The chordy stuff at the beginning is a sample of my acoustic guitar, timestretched to obscurity. :D

Reviews

woah!

What I love about electroacoustic is the fact that every sound is an ear candy, every sound is a layer that is recognisable in the space around your ears.

This piece has original moods and textures!

Thanks, man!

I like IDM

Sounds cool

Rig responds:

Neato!

Wow.

I am absolutely in awe of this track. I've probably listened to it 10 times in a row, and I'm going to listen to it 10 more.

It's terrific, and almost terrifying.

Rig responds:

Don't be scared!

This is strange

The strangeness to do whats right and wrong are smashed into bits and thrown away by you,THERE IS NOTHING WRONG IN THIS MUSICAL PEICE!

Rig responds:

BUT IS THERE ANYTHING RIGHT?

That's pretty cool

Reminds me of a whole swarm of mechanical insect being herded by a group of wind chimes. And the wind chimes are being commanded by some strange droid thingie. Weird images, but it's still a good song. I thought the guitar thing was a cool effect. I don't see why this is getting a low score, most people hear something weird in the beginning, label it as useless junk, 0-vote it, and leave before five seconds have passed. I think it's a cool song. They should too. :)
