Game(s): Super Mario RPG
Song(s): Battle with Smithy (First Form), Big Boss Theme

Well, isn't this interesting. The first submission I've put in since Chaos Theory and it's none of the ones on my list, imagine that.

Anyway, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! In honour of the season (and I do this every year; last year it was Magus' Midnight) I have cooked up an appropriately Halloweeny tribute to two of my favourite boss themes in existence. I've been meaning to do a mix of Smithy for quite a while now, but I just never got down to doing it.

So, hopefully, this one turned out okay. It was a bit of a hurried job; I only started it two days ago. Anyway, cheers all! Happy Halloween!

Needs more spookiness

I would have to agree with nasifc that the ending was the best part. It had a bit too much techo and not enough spookiness to it. I was hoping the tune would kind of sound like Luigi's Mansion from brawl with a bit of Banjo-Kazooie to it.

bitium-ribbon responds:

*shrugs* I did spooky last Halloween with Magus' Midnight. I figured this year I'd aim for less spooky and more intense, which I think is what I pulled off. Besides, I couldn't keep the attitude of Smithy's song if I went spooky, now could I? :P

Thanks for the review!

i like your use of the citrus synth (electric guitar 4 i believe)
the laugh in the intro was pretty cool and the synths were chosen well

Even if this was a rush project, you still blew me out of the water with that one! It's amazing how well you put songs together, AND make them feel like a single song. I believe, you were born to do this. Keep the mixes flowing!
