My attempt at recreating the main theme from the Legend of Zelda series. Don't expect it to be anything like Koji Kondo's version, I just randomly did this because I can.

Unfortunately I couldn't find a good trumpet sample even in my extensive library so I think that's the main part where I screwed up. Also, I think the main brass section is a bit "over-the-top".

But I hope you guys like it anyway. ^_^

Why did you make this piece of awesomeness without telling this to the World?!
Why nobody could make another Zelda remix better than this?!
Why is this the perfection of the perfect?!
Holy crap, I'm amazed...

A link to the past.

A link to the past on the snes was the first zelda game I played, and this sounds exactly like the main theme ;) if I remember correctly this plays throughout the main world, as long as you're not in the dark world or in a dungeon. :)

very good dude! I don't think there was anything too bothersome about the trumpets, and it wasn't your fault from the sounds. To me it sounded like the trumpets didn't have that great of lower velocities. Not a huge problem.

Faithful to the original

Whenever I hear this theme, I remember when I first played it on the NES. Oh the frustration of having to blow the dust out of the cartridge every time and attempting to make that infernal machine actually work... but once the music started I knew it was worth the effort =P

I also really like the "over the top brass" section, it fits well with the style of song.
