A Hero Is Born (Bushido OST)

I have been working for quite some time on an original project, entitled Bushido.

I am writing the script, I am composing the soundtrack, I am voicing the characters, and I may also be animating it (though I'd far prefer to sell it to a studio to animate, or getting a very talented freelance animator to do so).

In any case, enjoy a short 2.5 minute clip of my soundtrack. I enjoy this track a whole lot, though it has some bugs, and it certainly not the finished project.

Enjoy, and be kind in your reviews.

i love what ur doing--keep it up

Great song. I don't care what the guy beneath me says. you deserve to be some mad props for this song.

I pride myself on my ability to take criticism.

But "Dew" can take that 6 and shove it.

Preach, brother. Preach.

I personally didn't like this submission. The beat didn't really match up for me and I just didn't like the way it ended up sounding. You could kind of recognize the title and the music way of going, but it really didn't seem like it was made to entertain me. This isn't really something I enjoyed.

sshafty1 responds:

First, I'd like to say thank you for taking the time out of your day to review this. You're entitled to your opinion, and this certainly isn't my favorite on the soundtrack.

That being said, be mindful of your e-peen, sir.

Your 34 levels of bad-score totally raped the masses of people who scored this a 5.

In the butt.

I hope you're happy.

i recognise that beat at the beginning

was this made in garage band? i recognize the "ambient beat" track in the beginning of the song

sshafty1 responds:

Logic Pro, much more advanced than Garage Band.

And yeah, I was experimenting with hi-hat noises, and sadly, Logic doesn't allow for TOO many variations on a hi-hat, and so I was stuck with using that, unfortunately. However, in the final version I replaced most of the drums on the soundtrack with live recorded drums, which sound AWESOME.

Again, most of these aren't final drafts of the songs.

Pretty good. I would like to know something...

If you don't mind, of course. How long is the script? What is it about exactly? I'm currently working on animating and all that kind of stuff, and I have my own projects I want to do, but it would be cool if I could get some experience and whatnot. Would you like 3-D animation? It takes a long time to do such stuff, but I'm not sure if this is even a guarantee that I'll do it, just give me information and I'll consider it. I would also like to know who the characters are, and details about them, more or less, as well as the storyline, y'know?

sshafty1 responds:

I'll give you the info!
