I've waited way too long with this review. The thing is that I want to find the right words to describe the song. But I've made little progress with that.
Anyway, I think it is excellent from start to end. The melody is very catchy, I haven't forgotten it since I first heard it and I still come back and listen to the song every now and then.
There is one part that always catches my attention around 02:30. It sounds like some kind of filter+panning automation. It sound a bit different on different speakers, so I have multiple opinions about it. On my regular headphones for example, it sounded pretty uncomfortable before I got used to it.
But right now I'm using in-ear earphones and I get a feeling as if something is put over my ears at that part, kinda like a very mild airplane ear. Considering that it lasts only about 10 seconds, that's an amazing effect that I haven't heard in any other song. It somehow makes me imagine taking off and soaring above the clouds.
Yes this is good!
This is good.. i like the drums!! hehe .. keep it up buddy!!
The drums I originally built for another project of mine that is a 14 minute long Industrial dance song. well that song never was finished or turned into a masterpiece and I decided to take the sound board of that project and see where I could go.
It reminds me of Deus Ex
It's a great song. But the high-pitched strings was an ear bleeder at 1:34 and 4:06, so was the hi-hat drums (or whatever that was) that started at 2:40. I liked the piano and bass the most. Overall, it could be improved, but is certainly worth listening to.
all sounds have been fixed since you have listened and the second to last verse was changed.
Thanks for listening!
Wow this is cool. I love everything cept sometimes the side hi hat is a little loud =P. Awesome song overall it seems quite high pitched maybe you could turn the entire pitch down with Fruity EQ 2 on the master channel. Awesome tunes!
Keep it up i can't wait for the finished version!
Thank- you for listening and taking the time to comment.
I have already adjusted the percussion since it is mostly right panned i decided to move it more to a center ground of equaling where each direction of the beat is. I have turned the treble just a tad too taking your suggestion.
the updated version is up online right here!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
