The drum beat reminds me of some old school Chicago style house. not too sure about the melody and youre missing a good solid bass line. Still not bad.
Yeah, this track is my first one. I think it sounds a bit old hehe
If you liked this, check out the live remix version of this song. I think it's much better than this one
Pretty good start
Now, first off, excuse me for be bias as needed. I like the track, and it works for it's slow tempo.
As the person stated below, some delay and reverb would be nice. But I can tell you've got a delay on the lead already, (if you don't correct me xD) so put some feedback on it as long as the steps are in time. Combining reverb and delay isn't a bad combo. I like the percussion, but I noticed that the only real bass is the kick. If I were you, I'd add a bass line, something that progresses with the lead, harmonically, such as a fifth or seventh below. Natrually bass lines are lower octives so I won't expand on that any further.
I love the mastering and the overall feel of things. 5 and 9, respectively. I can't wait for future projects =)
Oh, and welcome to the NG portal.
Thanks 4 your review, advices and ratings!!
I'll try to do what you've said. I'm working now in some new projects, and I'll upload to the NG portal, soon something nice. I did some mashups with other NG artists tracks, but now I'll stop that line of work for a while. I'm focused in producing more own songs. I hope you also check them up!
I like the beat and background stuff but that lead synth has to ruin the party by being so loud! Lower that by around 1.5 decibels and it might sound better. Oh, and some delay or reverb would add a nice vibe to it. Great job though!
Thanks 4 your comment!!
...the intro is nice and chill so that is a good start. the groove of the track is nice and flowing. I didnt get a real kick out of the leadtones but what I do like is the twirling sound on the back and a nice fade in, it gives it a nice UK progressive style after that. Could be worked out a bit more (longer) and try to keep it intresting ;).
Welcome to the audioPortal on NG btw :).
thanks Carf! I'll try to improve the main melody of this track with some mixes
