I like it
I do think the song needs a little more punch, like the instruments need to come out at you a bit more. I would suggest increasing the tempo of the song during the middle, speed things up, make it really intense, crescendo and then back to its original calm pace again.
Blending in a rapid piano, and playing it repeatedly with the same notes will also add that feeling of extra speed.
Its perfect music for a logic against the clock puzzle type of game. I think giving the song different levels of tempo will really change how the person playing the game will behave, when it speeds up they will panic more. Its like when you play Super Mario Kart, on the last lap, the music will speed up and as a player the music sort of urges you to concentrate harder and eliminate errors from your game, it can work as a motivator too.
Love it classic sort of sound, remade clearer for a shoot em up.
Nice stuff this, a bit "cheesy" maybe? This could be kicked up a notch and get that sharper feeling. Do that for me, and we will see were this goes :)
Keep up your motivation and strive to be a better musician!
I try all the time to be a better musician my friend. I don't really want to play around with this though as it has had it's day i think. I rekon I managed that old type shoot em up feel. After all there would be all the sound effects and explosions etc...
It's Really Great!!! I Love It!!
