I have heard my fair share of Nintendo themed remixes. Hands down, this has gotta be one of the best Super Mario takes I've heard. You took this one in a dark/creepy direction and it worked to perfection. Wow.

I was playing the castle song on my piano, when I realized, it's time for my own mix. The only way to remix this song to it's fullest is in a classical dark form. So, here it is. I hope you enjoy.

And I like it!
Though I cant recognise the original theme anywhere in this, then again I had a Megadrive/Genesis as a kid. Must be my ignorance of every single Mario tune...
Anyways, this would so fit a horror movie or any other creepy thing. I can hear small children burst into tears already.

This totally fits the title, it almost reminds me of zelda in a way O_o!!! Nice job, the tempo sets the mood, and the drowning of the deeper end piano makes for a nicely put together dark song. awsome job, but i think the high pitched chanting 1 : 00 - 1 : 22 needs to be fooled around with... kinda odd? doesnt really fit in the song. but other than that good job.
