OLD COMMENTS:

This isn't a full song. it's pretty short, i was essentially playing around with the style and i wanted to see what you guys thought of it. keep piling on reviews, and at the end ill try to put it all together :D

finished at midnight. ommm nommm nomm nommm. i tried to be somewhat creative but somewhat stock at the same time, so pardon me if it sounds... interesting haha

also i spent very little time on the mix and the intro thus far since i wanted to sleep, and i dont really care about the intro and outro right now since my friend is thinking about integrating it into a larger mix. yarrrrrrr

SUGGESTION BOX // things for me to fix:

-the mix - strange clipping/distortion - <<addressed.>>
-middle frequencies for drums, maybe layering <<somewhat addressed>>
-maybe more hat tricks [lol. pun.] <<pending consideration. i kind of like it like this but okay>>
-length - increase it <<later>>
-INTRO- crashes are unnecessary <<though i think that for this relatively short song it adds a nostalgic touch. will fix if i expand.>>
-layer bass with sine subbass. <<done--though the levels may be a little off>>
-lowpass guitar upon 2nd section. ||still in consideration||
-reduce subby frequencies of kick, increase middle frequencies to round out sound. <<done.>>
-||possibly|| reverb the guitar

please help me add on to this list with ur reviews :)

It's chilled out nicely.

I like the bass and melody used in this tune. It mixes in nicely with the beat.

so smoothhhhh

crazy digging this jam. the bass hits perfect with the guitar sound. hard to accomplish that... i felt a need for more of a strings sound in the background but it played real nice. dont stop now! -drew

Very Profesional

Thanks for spending time to review my track.

I like where you went with this song having some live guitar and nice splashes with your cymbals.

I would like to listen to the full version of this song sometime. to see how the intro and end are for the full mix.

your track left me wanting to hear more variation and progression with your melodies. I understand that you had shortened this mix and all the verses flow real smooth.

Its good to listen to professional work on newgrounds among a lot of the other material here.

Ver nice man

This song is so soothing, I love it... I think that it should be shortened a bit. Besides that, it's a song I love. The kick is very nice!

Nice choice of instruments!

EP ALL THE WAY :)

Keep it up!

EP Constructive Review

Everything is great, so be prepared to hear a lot of IMO stuff..

-Could use a bit more master reeverb (though I suppose I love reeverb)
-The clap and up hihat sound very shallow, perhaps stereoenhancing/delay?
-The guitar sounds very shallow as well, perhaps delay?

Those are just some things to keep in mind, perhaps experiment with them. If you don't like the change, don't keep it, as I said; all IMO.
