Ah..The memories..The hate for those evil Mushbooms. It's been many years since I've rocked SoM, but I have to agree with Deth down below. The Mana series of games has some of the best music I've heard in video games to date. Well mixed, a variety of instruments, slightly repetitive but not enough to drive you insane when you get stuck. Unless you get stuck horribly like I did..(Two freakin' hours in that forest of changing seasons trying to figure the right pattern, that's what I get for trying to pwn my way through it at 10 years old.) Anyway, this remake is awesome, very accurate to the original though MUCH better sound quality. Ah, the remakes/remixes you make are epic indeed Wiz, here's hoping you keep up the good work.

(P.S. Anyone else feel like the games kids're raised on today spoon-feed them the answers usually? They wouldn't have lasted 10 minutes on the games we grew up on.)

MusicWizard responds:

Hah! You got that right, they would not have lasted 10 minutes, try 5 minutes or less before wining about that it is hard and boring... it's boring for them just because they can't play it. :P

Anyway, i totally agree with you, the game was better in the old days and the music composer did know what they were doing. Well there are some 10 pointers today but they are rare.

Thanks for your review.

Beware of Mushbooms.

Ah, i see.

Yeah, the series is one of the best, i hope they will continue to make more of it to the better consoles with better graphic and sound.
No more handheld versions.

this is just freaking cool man!
I think square enix should make a 3d veersion of the old games, don't ya think?
Thanks for the good music.

Thanks a million.

Yes, i think SquareEnix would do a remake or a new part of the series for a new console like PS3, Xbox360 or the Xbox 720 or WiiTwo that are on the way in 2011 and not for a handheld that lacks fast hardware with smooth graphics and such.

Absolutely love it

It's such a wonderful remake, I can't believe how well it sounds, I can listen to it for hours on end. I hope to hear more from you!

Yes more will come i promise you, so check back from time to time.

I always relax whenever I hear this one.

I mean, whenever I hear this, I think of being out in nature. :D :D The flute and brass synths make it sound epic; oh, and I like high-octave piano too. Most of all, I like that you stuck to the original tune! Three thumbs up!

5/5, 10/10, faved.
