it sounds better on my laptop
This is very good :O
By any chance, could I use this for my project too? It's PERFECT! If you agree I'll make sure to put you in the credits. LOL.
Sure, of course! Go right ahead! :) And thanks!
this is good cuz its got a mix of instruments and im gunna use it in a flash, with credit to ya aswell of coarse =P
Yup, it would be great for a world map lol.
I have a bit criticism about the instrumentation choice though.
The strings in the intro kinda vibrato too much for me. So does the brass instrument that came in later.
The guitars that come in after that are kinda quiet.
I really liked the parts with the piano.
2:12 was a strange transition for me. I think the tempo of the song changed too abruptly and I didn't really like that effect. Maybe you could have just had a slowing down of the original speed to transition instead of the sudden change.
I also think the background growl at 0:33 didn't fit well with the tune at the time.
The ending was pretty good too, but you might intend to have it loop right?
Overall, it was pretty good despite my lengthy criticisms on the specific parts.
I'd check out that project when you finish.
Thanks for pointing all that out! And thanks for the suggestions, too! I'll keep them in mind.
Not sure how you could think anyone would blam this. This is great! very nice percussion work; and a melody catchy enough to be used as a world map theme without being too complex. I'm not sure what advice i could give you. maybe try to make it into a loop, so it would flow nicely. All in all, great work.
Oh, it just angers me sometimes that people throw out 0's without actually listening to the piece or offering criticism.
But anyways! Thanks for the kind words! I think for the actual project I'm working on it'll be looped. The version here would be like if you were listening to a bunch of songs in sequence on an album.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
