I was inspired to make this ReMix after listening to somebody else's arrangement of the same theme, the Castle from Super Mario World. Like many others I've been a huge fan of the series' music for some time, but that particular theme is one of the most dark and exciting songs in any of the games, in my opinion. Even moreso than Bowser in Super Mario 64.

Anyway, the mix uses everything but the kitchen sink... huge custom synths, guitars, symphonic orchestra, church organ, you name it. I really wanted to bring out that ominous feel of the Castle theme and then amplify it further. Hope you enjoy it!

It's a 5!!

I have no clue why this has only been used in one entry the whole time it has existed on this website. For over a year, at least you were able to get over 100 reviews. I'm a huge fan of the Super Mario Bros. games and the music is some of the best as well. You have taken what was already great music and used everything you had to enhance it. You truly did throw in everything but the kitchen sink into this and the result is a masterpiece. It is something that everyone can listen to and thoroughly enjoy.

This song is so amazing. I felt like it was back in the day on my super nintendo but so much more FUH-MAZING. And it kept getting better and better and better and better.

I played this song on FFR.

I just now decided to see if it happened to be here on the audio portal.

I'm pleased to see that it is.
