A piece done entirely with patches created from only one virtual analog synth: Synth1
No samples used :)

This was done a few months ago, now I actually have some realistic snare patches. The sounds used in this demo were more like castanets.

Evil and Good.....

At first, I thought it was only going to be one of those sinister orchestral songs but at the middle, I changed my opinion.
This is something I have rarely heard before...

It sounds like a begining to a big movie!!!!!!!
I giv it 10/10 and a 5/5!

Very impressive that you made the synths all your self! They're enough that I can imagine the odd person mistaking them for real.
It's got a cool eery feel
The high pitched instrument sounds like it's playing some notes from a wrong chord at about 0:37. You might have just used an unexpected chord for that part, but it's noticeable when casually listening.
I like the rumbling drum sounds towards the end too.

Though it's very good, the fact that they're synths does stop it from feeling quite as good. It gives it a cool, slightly more 80s-early 90s feel, which is fun. But IMO a normal orchestra sound is still better over all.

It's Tales from the Crypt meets The Outer Limits. Very good atmospheric piece. Really good job on making the whole thing flow, the pace was really nice also. Those castanet sound adds a little Spanish flavor and the reed sounds give it an on-the-open-sea 'kinda feel as well. Listening to it I'm picturing an old haunted Spanish ship rising from the depths of the ocean. Very nice. Great work and Thanks for sharing.
