but the drums are too loud. maybe if it wasnt such a simple beat it would be okay, but it was distracting from the rest of the music.
The drums or the snare? I kinda thought the kick was a little low in the mix therefore making the snare seem a little loud.Ive adjusted my EQ and volume on the drum track to my newest that im workin on. Anyways,im glad ya dig it and thanx alot for the review bro!!!!
yeh needs bass
and some leads.
the riffs are really nice but really needs bass to give it tht umph, if ya know wot i mean.
Also a could definetly see a kick-ass solo around 4:01, just my personal opinion
Thanx man, i agree with the bass, im gonna try to get my hands on a bass and add to my newer songs. On the solos though, im not big on them and cant really play them that well since im more of a rythm kinda guy.lol Maybe i should try to practice them more often.Anyways, thanx for the advice and for the review!!
loved it man, blown away.
dude i love your sound. i love the audio clips to, they're very good quality. and the guitar is wicked. overall, im speechless. lol keep it up.
Thanx alot for the review! Positive feedback is much appreciated. Got some more wicked stuff comming soon. Rock on bro
Needs bass. . . badly
Other than the lack of bass, the song is kick ass. Where'd you find the recordings of the guy that was talking? Back onto the topic of improvement, I'd put more bass into the kick and a little less treble on the who song. Nice rythm guitars by the way.
Thanx alot , yeah, i agree on the kick drum being to low also the song does need bass. I actually got the soundbites from the original black and white Return of the living dead. well, ive got some new equipment now and hope that my quality is gonna be alot better from now on. Also gonna see about adding some bass to my sons as well.Rock on man
I'm not sure I like the distortion on the guitars. At least the rhythm guitars. They are a bit dull sounding, at least that is my opinion. Take it or leave it as you wish.
As for the song musically, you have some kick ass riffs going on. And they all flow well together. The transitions from one section to another are very good, although I think the news flashes in the middle of the song is ridiculous. Especially in a song with no vocals. Because without a storyline, they don't really make a whole lot of sense.
The drums are good sounding. I think the kick could be a bit more compressed, to make it punchier. But it is ok as it is. Overall, you have a good drum sound going on.
Where is the lead guitar? I hear no solos, and no real lead going on. A HUGE disappointment, because that is what metal is about in so many ways. Kickass solos, and a high screaming lead guitar leading you throughout the song. Now it doesn't need to be in the song all the way through, but there needs to be a lead somewhere. To give it some epicness. :-)
Overall not bad, but a lot of work could be done on it. 3/5 and 6/10 overall. Nice job, and if you decide to work on this later let me know. I would like to hear the new version if there ever is one.
Thanx for the review, i really appreciate others opinions.I doubt i will get around to adding to this, also, im not much on solos, im actually more into the chunky riffs and all. I dont really think a solo makes a song. I really am behind on my solo work as well and i feel like if you cant solo well, it just kills a song. Also, my kick drum was a tad to low and i wasnt happy with my distortion either.Ive got some new equipment now and hope to release some new tracks soon. Thanx again for the review man
