Ok, this is my first try at this particular style. As always, the mp3 is a direct render from the Midi, with no post-processing whatsoever. The defects in the bass line are there in the midi as well - it's done using the resonance and cutoff freq. controllers.

Sadly, there's a bug in the app I use - it doesn't track mouse movement very well, so when you're trying to draw the ramps it starts jumping around like a jackrabbit on a caffeine high. I could've fixed it - zooming in to the track until you see the individual points and setting them one by one, but I just couldn't be arsed. Besides, I kinda like it the way it sounds. :)

I was thinking of adding a string part in there, but couldn't find a melody or chord that works with the rest of the track. :/

I have changed the renderer I'm using for this one - rather than using DirectX, this is rendered using VSC (Virtual Sound Canvas). That gives me a few more options on the sounds that are available to me, but without overloading my system like FL does. It also saves me having to download gigs of samples when I know damned well I'll only use a handful of them <_<;

Ah well. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated - especially from those who know the genre better than me. :)

Oh, midi is available on request too. This ones only got four tracks (!!), but weighs in at a freakish 105kb thanks to those controllers. o_O;;

Ah well.

Edit : Oh wow... picked a bad day to do this. Listening to the other tracks in the new submissions list is bad for confidence. n_n;
