Nice
Quite the beautiful piano line and I love the saws too
Short story long (yes, bear with me), this is a cover/remix/thing I did of a song that was written by the cousin of a friend of mine without his consent. Took less than two hours, just another Automation test. Since the song is really simple, I didn't ask for the FL file.
Instruments used: preset 3xOsc bass, preset Sytrus synths (Gated SAW), shitty drums I downloaded (I need some better ones, links? :D), Squidfont Orchestral Soundfont for the strings, and MIS Piano, which I got from someone here on NG, I forget his name.
The lack of power after the introduction of the saws and pianos bugs me the hell out of me, but I won't spend hours working on that. Fruity Love Philter is pretty damn nice, no presets were used in the making of this simple remix. Edit: Correction, no Fruity Love Filter presets were used.
I'm aware that the quality of my submissions has gone down, but that's just because I don't spend as much as I used to on them and I submit anything that I write (or cover in this case) these days. College isn't helping either.
Original song: http://www.youtube.co m/watch?v= bWz3e Bi_7OQ (remove the spaces). Did I do it some justice? Don't know, don't care. Experimentation really.
All reviews are appreciated. From now on, you review me, I respond, and I'll give you a review on one of your own songs when I have the time. Simple, yes?

I like it!
It's really good, the original track is nice for one thing...
And what you've done to it works out quite nicely.
It's rather short, but i think you've done a really good job of holding true to (what sounds like the original) and adding a pretty sweet, kind of retro techno beat to the mix.
The melodies blend quite well..
Impressive!
High quality.
Everything here sounds really high quality, especially for not using any presets. I didn't listen to the original, but what you've presented here is really good. There's a lot of subtlety to the automation work you do here, and I think it works really well.
if you're looking for drum samples and stuff...
try freesound.com. i've found a lot of good, useable stuff there... just don't forget your signon ID once you get it, its a hell of a chore to get it back!
