Just b/c I'm starting college doesn't mean the music has to end y'all...as a matter of fact this is just the beginning. I made this one on the first night in my dorm room (last nite).
I really think I've improved you guys so please let a brotha know how you feel about this beat and be HONEST. Please also give me some CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM and let me know what i need to add b/c i feel like it's missing something.

Yea it was difficult to do that cuz the sample kinda mixed in with other stuff so I had to cut it at a certain point :\

haha i wish...or better yet J Dilla or Flying Lotus (if you dont know look em up...some of the most amazing producers ever). Yea I'm not really into a lot of gangsta rap either. As a matter of fact I've stopped listening to the radio n been listenin to a lot of Underground Music....

yeah there are some awkward sounds going on but aside from that i think the track gets a little repetitive after while...great job though! (thinking bout dat girlfriend huh..some times i get like dat..lmao!)

Yea tha fanfare i think kinda throws it off the first time but after that I kinda fixed it. The timing was sorta off.
haha and no i wasn't thinking about mah girlfriend cuz i dont have one right now (ladies hit meh up lol). BUT I was thinking about a certain girl I do know heh heh.

Good beat!
I'm really digging the use of oldies, but the song could still use some touching up. There are parts of the song where it seems like there is just a random burst of unnecessary sound. Mainly, that would be the little fanfare at the end of the big break. I love the sweet sounding voice in the background, and the little keyboard, but some of it just throws me off. Still, you did some great work here. Very nice! Keep it up!

Thanks. Yea the fanfare does throw it off a lil bit. But I think its only the first one that is a LITTLE bit off. I should also maybe turn it down a lil bit on the fanfare. A lil touch up here and there will make the beat just rite too.
