Good 8 bit
I know you were aiming for an 8 bit boss battle... and i think you nailed it, evil and i can safley say a "boss battle" like music. But i am a fan of new and more modern times, and as a game maker am looking for new aged music for my game.
Would've been nice to come here and find this to be a modern song not 8 bit. I think this is why your getting rated so low... no one these days, except "old school" gamers or fan's of the nes system would like this and i've seen a fair few 8 bit boss battles on newgrounds so it's nothing new to people anymore. But keep it up this is a nice 8 bit boss battle piece.
There you go I've just submitted a more realistic version for you because I am a man of the people. Thanks for your comments. I'm happy to cater to any more requests.
6/10 or 3/5. I'm not really too into making video game music and such, but I think this could make the place in one of these old games. So I guess it's good.
Ok, good work ;D It sounds pretty decent, but you might want to consider making it much more fast paced. I've been gaming for a long, long time. It's a good song, but if you want it to be incorporated into a game on a current-gen console, it cannot be 8-Bit as it is. Try getting either a live band to perform it (If you can do that XD It's hard finding them) or get an orchestra-level synthesizer.
But, no matter how you change the song, I can see a boss fight playing out in my head when I listen to it. It loops very well, It sounds evil, and has good rhythm. Keep it up!
Ha that's very amusing. I don't expect it to be good enough to make it to a Console i just want some one to pick it up for a flash but as far as the orchestration goes I happen to have a very high quality sampler which you can hear in alot of my other submissions but I wanted that classic feel so I actually aimed for the 8 bit sound. I'm a bit of a sucker for the classics that way. I think it's pretty funny that you thought I was limited to 8bit software. It makes me feel like I've achieved what I was after.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
