i just love golden sun games.5/5 10/10
I want to replace the in game version with this, its that good.
Favorite RPG is Fire Emblem? How bout remixing something from that? ("Together We Ride" maybe?)
hmm, not a bad idea, and Fire Emblem is my Second favourite, next to the Tales Series from Namco.
WHOO! GOLDEN SUN!
It's my fav GBA RPG game! 10/10.
Lol I didn't really play the game too much, but it was still interesting when I did. Fire Emblem is My Fav RPG. Glad you liked the song (or the game at least lol)
Can't take on us, we Adept. *shot for pun*
This is a pretty decent work on the song man, though the sounds is more introduced to being something I'd hear of MegaMan or MMX. Not that that is a bad thing mind you.
Much like Lavitz, I kinda marked you down on the fact that you repeated the same thing 3 times. 2 times would have been enough and then a fade out, or if the sound and actual composition had changed it would have been cool. When you actually remix something and want to make it long or don't plan on a loop, best thing to do is to actually add in something from your own soul to give it some new atmosphere.
Sound wise, it's not half bad, I could definetly play GS to this. Also, what you could have done for an ending which I'd tell people more often if I did full reviews as often as I'd like, add in the actual victory music at the end in a cut off. That way you have an excuse as to how long it goes, and it impresses people a bit.
Hm. Dam good response man :)
All very good and helpful ideas, and i really appreciate you taking the time to write all that lol.
Personally, I don't remember the victory music, but for some games FF for example, that would be a good finisher. Ug, why don't I think of these thing lol -_-
Anyway, thanks again fot the review!
alright this song is pretty good! It's simple yet you recognize very well the song. It sounds a lot like the original, yet it's different, modesty :). One thing I didn't like though is the length of the song. It's a bit too long, 3 times the same thing. What you could've done is do it once and end it in a loop, cuz it's pretty long and it makes it repetitive =/. Even if you don't want to make it a loop, cut it down a bit and it's perfect.
Ok, fair enough. However, one thing that bugs me about songs that loop are intros. If I took your advice, I'd have to either
A - Make a seperate recording of the intro and use it once
or B - Figure out how if there is a program that can code the song to loop 2 seconds in (or whatever it is)
But thanks for the idea, I appreciate the feedback!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
