It's been a while! Due to multiple computer crashes and the experimental nature of my new projects, it took a while for Macrochip to get here. But, because of all that technological meltdown, the lyrics and song take on a whole new meaning.

How about a little Tech-Hop? Is that a genre? I'm too lazy to look it up. The title and themes in the tune harken back to an old series of songs I made in Techno Ejay, which you will never hear, because they contain premade loops. Still, Ejay was an important program that helped shape the way I construct a song.

If you find my voice to be the most appalling thing on planet Earth, sit tight! I'm uploading an instrumental version right after this.

Sounds awesome...
The genre is... Something. It's original no doubt.
Sounds great. I can't tell if it's hip hop, techno or video game music.

The voice fits it really well. I'm usually annoyed at lyrics in electronica songs, but this works really well.

The beat and effects sound really awesome, and create a kind of video gamish, futuristic machiny feel.

Would suit a video game submission I guess, but it's fun to listen to on it's own too. Could even have been longer. :)
Lyrics in description woulda been ncie too.

Gillenium responds:

Eek... listening back on this, I sound kinda... stupid. But I'm glad you like it ^^ I put a lot of work into this tune, although the ones I put the most work into seem to become overly complicated and just not as good as my other stuff. Thanks for the review!

not bad

the beat is great, it has this nice liquid flow (maybe its more like liquid :P)

the vocals however, if you altered them with adobe audition id go easy on the echo chamber effects, they really mess up the clarity of the lyrics.. and otherwise try some filers or something to clear up that reverb

i like the instrumental version better as it is, but if the vocals on this one would improve itll defenitely improve alot

Gillenium responds:

I did the reverb effect on purpose, through Ableton Live. I tried straight vocals on it and it just sounded weird. I don't have that strong of a lead voice, so I needed something to help me out. It works better than unfiltered vocals, believe me. But hey, that's why I uploaded the instrumental, too. I want everybody to be happy :) Thanks for the review.

Seriously man this is funky stuff. I was wondering what software you use? Are you the voice or do you export it out from some where else?

Gillenium responds:

I used Ableton Live for this one, in conjunction with FL Studio for my beats. I did the vocals (that's why they kinda suck :D) and recorded them with Adobe Audition. Glad you like! Thanks for the review.

nice done!

I really liked this one, perfect work/chill/gaming - music. it wasn't just a "loop-thingy", this shit had nice beat and Rhythm. keep up the good work!

Gillenium responds:

Thanks! The whole thing is pretty much based on one synth loop, but I tried to give it some flare with effects and vocals.
