Hey y'all, this is an edit of my first song Aerospacial. I took out the weird distortion and added more bass! Woot!
Hope you like the new AEROSPACIAL!

Nice work

I can see that we've got a great track that would fit very nicely into the WipEout style of games here. The beat is pretty fast and there is certainly an essence of urgency amongst both the beat and the melody that really do keep the track flowing along nicely.

With the mastering in mind, there is still a little "static fuzz" towards the end of the track that needs looking into, but other than that, you've done a good job and I can certainly say that it's one of the more pleasant techno tracks that I've heard of late.

Thanks a lot for the review! ^_^
And I'll take a look at what is causing that static.... I take pride in the mastering of my songs, so anything that can be improved is definitly something I will work on in future songs! Thanks again!

Great job! A very original sound along with a lot of good variety. There were a lot of cool effects and the vocals in the submission really added a lot to the overall production.

The bubbly sound in the beginning was really cool and I had never heard anything like it in a song before. This is good all around and it's probably my favorite audio that I listened to today. Keep up the good work.

As I said... Not everything was of my creation... Though it may sound good... I can't take all the credit here... I'm glad you enjoyed the mix though and I hope to put out a few songs from my album in progress! Thanks for taking a look! ^_^

Loved it, to the fullest, the intro was good and the effects added were amazing.
The drums were very techno like and futuristic and complimented the whole song,
The voice was cool, I agree with Haggard, it reminds me a lot of Daft Punk...
The melody was good and I loved the whole, future city vibe to it.
The main instrument I liked a lot and the bass added was fantastic, I heard a bit of cliiping though at some points.
The effects were awesome and I loved the build-ups an' transitions.
The kicks although, were too much, It gave me a bit of a headache.

I have to say... It's kinda awesome being compared to big names like Daft Punk! XD
Although I'm sad to say that I made this song quite a while ago... And at the time I had a bit of a skewed perception of what made a song actually mine... And so because of that not all of the synths used are mine, but are some of the basic loops and effects given in Magix Music Maker 14... >_<
More than likely I'll be removing this song along with my other shortly... However I am working on a 100% original song at the moment and I can't wait to see where that'll get me! ^_^
Thanks for all you've done to help out!

Cool intro.

Was expecting the drums to come in a little stronger than they did because of it, but on it's own it's a pretty unique way to open the piece. The drums themselves sounded a little muffled to start with- while this isn't so much of a problem when the synths start coming in at the start they could have used a bit more brightness to them.

The first synth is cool, it's got a nice evolution to it, but when it starts fading out I would have said it needed something more to it at 0:44, but then the next synth comes in at 0:48 and that's forgotten. But for those 4 seconds in between it feels like it's almost lacking something as the synth starts getting pretty quiet. In the same way with the second synth, it's cool but when it starts fading out again it could use something new, but that something new comes in a second or two later.

The synth at 1:26 is pretty cool, I like how it's more incidental than some of the others and so gives a nice bit of colour. It could just be my headphones, but at 1:37 I kept thinking there could have been a lot more bass. In general the bass could probably have been brought up a lot more (But as I say, that could just be my headphones cutting off the low freqs)

The main synth gets a little repetitive after a while, even with all the little changes to the other sounds and the incidental synths added in. That being said, the entry of the vox at 2:02 is cool. I can't quite tell what it's saying, even when everything else cuts out, though I'm not sure if I'm meant to be able to or not. The cut out down to just to vox is cool in itself, though.

2:28 could have used being a little more melodic as you've just kind of got this half-pitched phased sound for melody, though the synth kind of makes up for that. 2:43-2:45 sounds a little bare, but I like the synth that comes in after that. However, I didn't get the synth at 2:57 at all. It sounded like it clicked and clipped half the time, and in general just sounded really off? You may want to take a second look at that one.

All in all, the transitions were cool, the levels were nicely done and with the exception of the final synth there's nothing major I could say to fault this. Nicely done.

Just... Wow...
This review is a MASSIVE help! I'm glad to have all of the small flaws pointed out so that I may not make the same mistakes again! ^_^
This was my first song I've ever made and I did notice some awkwardness in it, but could never tell why... Lol
I'll definitly keep this in mind when I mix in the future! Thanks a lot for this!

GFreat song

I loved every beat in the song, it is so awesome... The beat are so nice and they fit so well together, they gave me a spacial feeling sometimes, the back drums are so cool, they work so nice w/ the synts...

The music kind of gets a bit too repetitive sometimes, but it doesn't affect the final rating, because the music is kind of reaflxing, it seems to take you to the space, to other dimension...

Keep it up w/ the good work man, your song is very cool!!!

(Review Request Club)

KaoticAlchemist responds:

Reading this made me uber happy! ^_^
That spacey feeling is what I was aiming for!
The title itself is a word I made to represent that...
Aero is taken from aerodynamics and is the air or flight part of the word. Spacial is a made up word coming from space and spatial which to me means a sort of emptiness like outer space. Together it makes Aerospacial which is supposed to mean something close to "the high void" or outer space! XD
And I'm already working on an industrial song, "Nuclear Explosion" XD
