The loops are great, but...
I have almost the same program (I didn't realize that fourteen or thirteen came out, so I foolishly got twelve. Ah well, its still good), so I'm not sure if anyone else can tell, but for me its easy to figure out when you put in a new loop. You need better transitions.
The vocals were a bit loud, and when you moved out of the piano and music-box like sound, nothing really happened in the piece.
Okay, so you wanted a story?
The bell tolls in a forgotten village, where the people are all but dead, carrying on for no reason other than they forgot that happiness exists. Despair looms overhead, the life around is decay. The drums of a far off war sound. A lone soldier watches his comrades die, and tries valiantly to fight off the enemy. It is a vain effort though. The war is all but over, all of his comrades are gone. Cowardly, he runs as far away as he can, into the village, just to find that it's state is that of rot. He wants to help, he searches for an answer, some way to help them. It isn't out of compassion that he helps though. It's out of guilt.
The first and last drum sounds, as he sets off on a brave and dangerous quest.
Um, yeah... Thats a weird story I'm getting.
