My first song I recorded using my mom's computer and my accoustic. It starts with chords and then 2 ambient solos (both done by me) enter and then there is and ambient breathing going on as it gets to the end. It sounds the best in headphones... as the ambient fades in and out of different ear pieces. Trust me... it sounds weird. Its like it is supposed to be flowing through your head. I will post chords and equipment if anyone is interested.

The song starts as a song of hope... but things just get worse and more complex... the breathing speeds up as it gets more intense... and It gets chaotic to the point, the person can't take it anymore and it overcomes him. And his "Challenge To Break" is to survive and make it to the next day.

Please comment. I would love to know what you think... and if wanted, I can take out the breathing.

All this is done with a built in microphone and garage band (I use it to add effects to my solos/breathing... not to play anything.)

Summary

Good work, I like the chord choice and the flow. The guitar layer works nice. Maybe you could work on making the back layer stay together. I can hear at time where it doesnt quite stay. The second layer [the high one] is nice but hard to hear. Maybe you could raise the levels. I dont think you should have had that third layer right at the end. It would sound much better without it and by taking that away you could stay focused and not get a pile of guitar at once.

Ya... thanks. I like feedback, it makes my music better. I really like that you like it. This was kinda my test with playing guitar and recording it, and I was mainly just fiddleing arround. I wrote this song when I was depressed. It was kinda to show how things can build up and slowly control you, and make the little things can make your life unbearable. It's in E minor, which is my favorite key. It is so sad and dark, but it continues to show a sense of hope. I don't like the end, because it is not clean.

Thanks for the feedback... you are helping my playing.

Be sure to check out Yokomeso. He is my friend and bandmate in acoustic shows. We haven't played anything recently, but we plan on recording something soon. Check out Just Now... it was my first ever attempt at a solo.
