My first output from FL studio after years of inactivity! This was just a couple hours of tinkering and it's loop-able. If it's liked, I will DEFINITELY pursue this in my spare time between work and family.

Reverb

About the reverb you've going on - it seems to take away some of the character of the sounds. I picture it extending either a bit more (to make the piece sound flowy & ambient), or much less (to make it more direct & rhythmic). What you've got right at the moment just sounds like you were recording it in a parking garage.

what did you use?

you have a short and lack of change song. it gets repitive you know wha i mean? but what the hell did you use for the background? what is that sounds cool. you know the thing the comes on first and countines through the whole song going duo dunan dunsna okay i cant tell the beat but its the most dominete thing in the song what the hell is it?

DJ-Keen responds:

It's a loop, that's why it's repetitive. The main melody? It's just some piano and synth samples with a free filter applied.

I enjoyed it

My only complaint is the lack of change between :13-:30. It became really repetitive by that point and I kept thinking (do something aleady!). Not sure what you could do to fix that really. Maybe add another beat or something?

DJ-Keen responds:

Yeah you're right. It drags on a bit there. But I figured it wouldn't matter much, since it's less than a minute all together, and it would be used for looping if anything.
