This was a somewhat simple song that I made while I was thinking of a nice day outside. I tried to capture the soothing, fresh atmosphere of a spring day. It has a very bubbly and warm mood, but is also energetic at the same time. I think it's a success. =)

Converted from midi thanks to KgZ.

Upbeat.

It's upbeat and enjoyable in a BGM/elevator music kind of way. The melody is way too passive for this to be really interesting to me.

As others have pointed out, it still sounds very much like it was converted from a MIDI. Better virtual instruments would fix this. More 'real' sounding instruments might also get rid of some of the 'old video game' vibe.

Good work on the whole.

hmm

haha I just read your big article on "The Higher Realm Of Music" on the BBS and you definitely live up to what you talked about.

Not my genre at all, I wouldnt put this on my mp3 or anything, but the structure is great and you were right when you said itll make a song much more interesting and enjoyable. I'll be keeping an eye out for your stuff now :)

very cheerful

Reminds me of all the good times I had on Maplestory :D It also kinda reminds me of final fantasy 9, makes me feel very cheerful. All I could really recommend is maybe make it a bit longer, it seems to end so soon XD Very well done ^^

Very bright and enjoyable :P

No less what i expected from CosmoVibe :P
This is exactly the type of song i enjoy. It gives a feeling of a bright spring day :D

But my dino run music playing in the background isn't helping it at all lol.

I'm not sure about the effects of adding a guitar, but I think you can experiment with it. After all, all amazing discoveries come partly by luck.

This isn't ambient imho

Although I must admit it is uplifting, slightly in mood of Jellyfish (my heroes) songs. It could use better samples, sound could be a bit brighter, and maybe with a guitar? ;) Very good work. Added to my favorites.

CosmoVibe responds:

I still know nothing about samples and the what-not, it was converted to mp3 by a friend. Though I agree about it not being ambient. No idea what I was thinking. Moved it to classical.

I'll think about the guitar thing.

Thanks for the review! =D
