So after having my hopes and dreams crushed by OCremix for my corneria remix, I decided to give remixing ONE more shot. And what better song to remix than the least remixed final fantasy 6 song.

Epitaph, It occurs only once in the game when you are walking down the stairs in daryl's tomb, setzer is remembering the last day he saw Daryl before her accident.

It's a very emotional song normally, but I wanted it to feel a bit lighter while still maintaining the original Idea :D

Honestly I don't think this song is done yet, there is more I will probably add, and as such i'm looking for suggestions :) Either in the comment field, or in my inbox :)

either way, I hope you enjoy what i've got so far :D

This isn't reviewed nearly enough.

While I enjoy OCRemix songs, the simple fact is that the judges are self-serving asswipes. =/

This is very, VERY good, and I like it a lot. Love the feel that it gives of the emotions of that scene...excellent job! Faved, fived, reved and downloaded. ^^

very nice

I haven't seen the inspiration for this song but it's obvious that it is very reminiscent. I would think the memory is suposed to be sad because "setzer is remembering the last day he saw Daryl before her accident". But once the drums kick in everything gets happy as if Setzer starts remembering all the good times. But even so, remembering good times will only make one miss there lost friend even more. I guess good memories is what you're trying to convey, and like I said I haven't seen this game, but wouldn't it be better if it starts reminiscent, gets reminiscently happy, and then gets really sad at the ending to reflect the feeling of loss for such a great friend?

ocremixers are a bunch of arrogant snobs.

I rest by that statement - Ive never even bothered to submit anything there. And I'm surprised anyone remembered this song in the game - like you said it only appears once :)

nice rendition!
